What to Expect at Your First Aesthetics Consultation at AL Medical
Thinking about an aesthetic treatment but not sure what happens at a consultation? Amy Lamb explains exactly what to expect when you visit AL Medical, from the moment you arrive to your personalised treatment plan.
Your Consultation Booking
A booking fee applies to your consultation. If you proceed with any in-clinic treatment within 12 weeks, the fee is redeemed against that treatment. The consultation is a conversation: a chance to ask questions, understand your options and decide whether to proceed without pressure.
The Consultation
Your consultation will be conducted by Amy Lamb or a member of our clinical team. We listen carefully to your concerns, carry out a clinical assessment, and explain all relevant treatment options clearly, including realistic outcomes, potential side effects and aftercare.
A Note on Prescription Treatments
All injectable aesthetic treatments at AL Medical are prescription medicines. Before any injectable treatment is administered, our nurse prescriber must assess you face-to-face. This is a legal requirement and an important safety measure.
Your Treatment Plan
Following your consultation, your practitioner will provide a personalised treatment plan covering the options most appropriate for your concerns. We then allow a cooling-off period so you can consider every option thoroughly before deciding whether to proceed.
