A bride at an evening wedding celebration

Wedding Preparation

Congratulations on your engagement. Skincare forms the foundation of your wedding-day appearance, and with considered care over several months you can work towards a healthy, glowing complexion.

What to expect

Skin takes time to transform, so consistency is key. How intensively you prepare depends on when you start and what you are looking to address.

Twelve months before

If you have rosacea, pigmentation or acne, starting around 12 months before your wedding gives the most time to see change. This is a good point to book a skincare consultation with a specialist and discuss in-clinic treatments such as microneedling, skin peels or Dermalux light therapy, as well as considering injectables like polynucleotides or dermal fillers.

Six months before

There is still time to see real improvements. Outbreaks and imbalance are common during skin renewal, with visible improvements typically appearing after 8 to 12 weeks.

Three months before

This is a shorter timeline, but visible changes are still achievable. Progressive skin rejuvenation every 3 to 4 weeks is recommended, along with daily SPF, since UV exposure causes the most skin damage over time.

Everyday skincare

A simple morning routine of cleanser, serum, moisturiser and SPF, and an evening routine of cleanser, retinol, moisturiser and eye cream, builds a strong foundation. Results come from medical-grade, evidence-based products rather than packaging alone.

Consistent skincare and targeted treatments, started with enough time to work, are the foundation of feeling confident on your wedding day.
