Frequently asked questions
Do I need a prescription for Obagi?
Some Obagi formulations contain prescription-strength tretinoin, which requires a prescription. Our nurse prescriber can assess and prescribe these in-clinic.
What does the initial adjustment period involve?
Some clients experience mild redness, dryness and peeling in the first 2-4 weeks. This is a normal part of the skin adjustment process and settles as the skin acclimatises.
Is Obagi suitable for sensitive skin?
Obagi offers a range of formulations including options for sensitive skin. Your nurse prescriber will recommend the most appropriate programme for your skin type.
